Harvard Club of Japan Sports and Culture Series Dinner "Engineering Human Durability: What Elite Performance Science Reveals About Longevity and Health"- A Dinner Discussion with Dr. Marcus Elliott of Harvard Medical School -

The Harvard Club of Japan is pleased to present an intimate dinner discussion with Dr. Marcus Elliott, a graduate of Harvard Medical School and Founder of P3 (Peak Performance Project), a research institute focused on human movement, injury prevention, and long-term musculoskeletal health. For nearly two decades, Dr. Elliott has studied the biomechanics of human performance using advanced motion capture technology and large-scale data analytics. P3 has assessed more than 5,000 athletes, including over 3,000 professional athletes, and has worked with organizations across the NBA, Major League Baseball, USA Basketball, NCAA Division I athletics, and international football programs. While developed in elite sport, these insights have broader implications beyond athletics. Dr. Elliott’s research examines how movement patterns and biomechanical indicators can predict injury risk, improve long-term joint health, and help extend physical durability across the lifespan. This small dinner discussion will explore how performance science is reshaping our understanding of human durability, longevity, and preventive health.
