Message from Club President Daniel Fujii

Dear Harvard Community Members,

As the incoming president of the Harvard Club of Japan (HCJ), I am thrilled to continue our mission and build upon the strong foundation laid by our dedicated past Presidents and Board Members.

As an officially recognized club under the Harvard Alumni Association, we proudly represent Harvard University in Japan, uniting alumni from all schools and programs under the banner of One Harvard. The profound, transformative experience we’ve shared at Harvard continues to resonate in our lives, and now, HCJ is eager to extend this lifelong learning journey with you - the alumni - beyond Boston.

As One Harvard, we believe in the power of the community and the people to people network.  HCJ will focus on strengthening the bridge between Japan and Harvard through:

Harvard Engagement in the Local Japanese Community: Enhancing Harvard’s visibility through engaging local interactions and community events.
Fostering One Harvard: Creating a vibrant platform for Harvard alumni and stakeholders to connect, collaborate, and support each other, both in Japan and abroad.
Promoting Harvard Education: Championing the incredible opportunities to study abroad at various Harvard programs, opening doors to lasting and meaningful experiences.

Throughout the year, we will host a variety of dynamic academic, social, and cultural events designed to inspire and connect our community. We wholeheartedly invite you to join in and become an active participant in our mission!

I am excited about the opportunity to meet each of you at our upcoming gatherings and to share in the enriching experiences that lie ahead.

Let’s come together to celebrate our shared legacy and forge a vibrant future!

Warm regards,

Daniel Fujii (AB '86, AM '86)

President, Harvard Club of Japan
