How to register
Before you register for emails from Harvard Club of Japan, please read the following.
Alumni/Student Login:
An official list of “Alumni” is maintained by the Harvard Alumni Association. Alumni and Associate Members are included. If you have your own HarvardKey, you may register with us via Alumni/Student Login. If you do not have a HarvardKey yet, please obtain this first, then register for the Harvard Club of Japan.
“Student” is for those who are currently studying for a degree program at Harvard University.
PLEASE NOTE: Even if you have HarvardKey, that does not mean you are a Harvard Alumni or Student.
Students or alumni in non-degree programs and part-time students are not considered to be “Student” or “Alumni” even though you may hold a HarvardKey. Please double-check your status.
Degree programs are defined by each school of Harvard University. If you are unsure of your academic status, we strongly recommend that you ask your school directly.
Non-Alumni Login/Register:
Please register through Non-Alumni Login/Register if you are a current or former student, whether you are full-time or part-time, of a non-degree Harvard program.
Please ignore the HarvardKey part and proceed directly to Faculty, Staff, Parents, and Non-Alumni member – click here and login below.
“Non-Alumni Login/Register” is also for former "fellows" or "visiting scholars" of Harvard University and those who attended Harvard classes in non-degree programs and part-time students.
Questions and Answers:
Q: Does the Harvard Club of Japan charge to the emails?
A: No. We do not ask any fees to register for emails.
Q: What do I receive by registering?
A: You will receive emails from the Harvard Club of Japan regarding events and be offered the opportunity to attend.
Q: Who is allowed to register with the Harvard Club of Japan?
A: Both “Alumni” as per the Harvard Alumni Association, and “Non-Alumni” which includes students of non-degree Harvard programs, faculty, staff, and parents.
Q: Why can’t I register?
A: (1) Please check your status again. Holding a HarvardKey does not automatically mean you have status as an “Alumni” according to the Harvard Alumni Association.
(2) If you encounter an error message at the time of registration, please contact Club Secretary Yukari Fujita at yukari_fujita@harvard.alumni.edu or veritas@fa.catv-yokohama.ne.jp . It is often the case that you are successfully registered by the system on your first attempt.
