Graduated from Kobe University Faculty of Law (Department of Law, Environmental Law) Joined Dai-Ichi Kangyo Bank in 1991 before working in pharmaceutical companies for 26 years. Engaged in finance, internal audit, risk management, compliance, etc. Joined AstraZeneca K.K. in 2015, leading AZKK’s sustainability initiatives since 2020. Vice Chairman of the Environment Committee of the Federation of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers’ Associations of Japan (FPMAJ), Deputy representative of JCLP (Japan Climate Leaders’ Partnership)
