Vino Veritas - Exclusive Dinner with Cakebread Cellars President Bruce Cakebread
The Harvard Club of Japan is pleased to present an exclusive dinner with Bruce Cakebread, President of the award winning and beloved cult winery, Cakebread Cellars. The dinner will feature five iconic Cakebread wines paired with dishes specially prepared by the winery chef, Thomas Sixsmith.
Considered one of the oldest wine families in Californa, Bruce and his parents, Jack and Dolores Cakebread, have grown Cakebread into one of the most successful and respected wineries in America. Over the course of 40 years, the winery has expanded to 13 locations spanning over 1,100 acres across the Napa and Anderson valleys in California. Today, the family winery is in its second generation of the Cakebread family and over the years has implemented several innovative techniques, including night-harvesting and whole-cluster pressing.
