Harvard Club of Japan and HBS Club of Japan Joint Arts & Culture Event

From MBA, McKinsey, and MTV to an Artist:

A Talk by Charles Chaucharles-chau-2-------------

The Harvard Club of Japan and the HBS Club of Japan are pleased to present
a joint Arts & Culture event featuring artist Charles Chau.

Having reached the summit of his previous business careers — including being the editor-in-chief of an iconic Hong Kong city magazine in his twenties and then the MD/EVP of MTV North Asia in his thirties, Charles reinvented himself as a professional artist in his forties.

He will share stories with attendees about how he decided to abandon the stereotypical career ladder, avoided career-market pitfalls by inventing his business model, and overcame the inner fear of being a typical insecure, early overachiever. Stories on how philosophy, poetry and painting are being blended into one.

The talk aims to inspire participants to follow their inner drive when seeking their career path. Myriad possibilities are open if one dares to dream.

We hope you will join us for this unique opportunity to reflect on the 'diversity' and 'non-linearity' of cross-cultural career progression.

After his talk Charles will open the floor for a Q&A session, followed by a standing buffet and cash bar.

Please register for the event using the reservation function below.

***Note that cancellations after noon on Tuesday, March 26 and no-shows will be charged the full participation fee, as we are committing to the venue on a per-person basis.
