The RAdcliffe Pitches at the Roppongi Hills Club
The Harvard Club of Japan is pleased to present an event with the Radcliffe Pitches, Harvard's oldest all-female a cappella group, from 19:00 on Tuesday, May 30.
The Radcliffe Pitches are Harvard University's oldest female-voiced a cappella group, founded in 1975 at the historic Hasty Pudding Club. The group consists of 12 undergraduates who sing jazz and standards from the Great American Songbook in close harmony settings. They have performed all around the world and for a wide variety of audiences, from international tours to annual spring break tours of Bermuda, and from annual performances for Harvard's Hasty Pudding Man of the Year to sold-out concerts in Harvard's largest performance space, Sanders Theatre.
This summer, the Radcliffe Pitches are delighted to be visiting Tokyo as a part of their biennial international tour, and have prepared a wonderful evening of music and entertainment for the Harvard Club of Japan. After the performance, the Pitches will mingle with guests.
Admission to the event includes a standing buffet dinner at the elegant Roppongi Hills Club, with cash bar available.
Doors open at 18:30, with the evening to run from 19:00 - 21:00.
Admission is 6,000 yen (4,000 for students aged 12 and over), payable at the door.
