Decision-making expert Richard Zeckhauser, Frank P. Ramsey Professor of Political Economy at the Kennedy School outlines the principles for making rational decisions.

Harvard Club of Japan is most pleased to host a talk by decision-making expert Richard Zeckhauser, Frank P. Ramsey Professor of Political Economy at the Kennedy School. He will discuss: “The Challenges to Effective Decision Making: Behavioral Decisions in Finance and Life.” Professor Zeckhauser will discuss examples, some humorous and some fatal, of biases that lead us to poor choices. He will also outline the principles for making rational decisions. The discussion following the talk should be a lively one.

Procrastination is a common and often costly decision bias. Why not “choose” right now to register?

This event will take place on Monday March 13, 2017 at Roppongi Hills Club. Doors will open at 18:30, the event proper will start at 19:00 and end at 21:00 sharp. An excellent buffet dinner will be available along with cash bar for all beverages. Admission is 5,000 yen payable at the door in cash only.
