RESERVATION CLOSED: B-Class Gourmet Event @Nakano Broadway

This is the very first attemptbroadway to get Harvard alumini/nae be acquainted with a different taste of  Japanese culture: B-class gourmet, spiced with a bit of "Otaku" experience.  The Nakano Broadway is an ideal location for both foods and Otaku culture. The building has dozens of shops retaiing dolls, games, memorabilia, etc. and also offers a variety of B-clas culinary pleasure. You can eat traditional Japanese, Indian, fast foods or anything you like.  

We will quickly walk through the Broadway, introducing small retailers. If you want to by a Japanesse doll of 1960s, for exsample, this  is the place. Also you will be able to find a wide variety of children's toys from the Showa era. The guide for the night will be a Brown alumni, Benjamin, who has been nominated by the government to serve as Cool Japan Ambassador.

We will then ea------------------t at "Hina-ya" a Japanese restraurant which used to be a regular Japanese house. The restaurant offers a variety of modern/traditional Japanese foods in multiple small dishes. The price is 4,000 yen (with free drinks).

If you still want to enjoy the Nakano night, we will be happy to take you to a "anime-song only" karaoke nearby. You are only allowed to sing anime-songs on stage, but Disney songs are acceptable.
