2013 has brought signs of renewed optimism and growth in Japan, Harvard's first ever victory in the NCAA Basketball Tournament, and the promise of the Olympics in Tokyo in 2020.Two Japanese star pitchers were among the Red Sox players who celebrated a World Series win with a parade on a sunny late autumn day that crossed the Boston Marathon finish line, the scene of tragedy in April. The Rakuten Eagles, owned by a Harvard alum, brought joy and inspiration to Tohoku amidst the ongoing recovery from the disaster there.
Join us as we welcome 2014, enjoying each others' company, with fine food prepared atop Tokyo by the excellent chefs at Roppongi Hills Club and a great wine list curated by Wine In Style.
