Join Membersof HCJ and Other Organizations as Volunteers for Oct 5th Service Day by Hands On Tokyo

EVENTS START AND END AT VARIOUS TIMES THROUGHOUT THE DAY. Register now to volunteer at a range of activities and locations throughout the city.

Harvard Club of Japan is pleased to invite our members to participate in a Tokyo-wide volunteer event—Hands On Tokyo’s Day of Service on Saturday October 5th. Our club is pleased to join many other organizations in the area to partner with Hands On Tokyo (HOT) on community service projects. While HOT often offers events at single site for one specific partner, once a year HOT holds its Service Day with volunteer activities at multiple sites throughout the city that are open to all its registered volunteers from many organizations including Harvard Club of Japan.

**NOTE: Some activities start in the morning and some later. Please check times carefully and choose the activity that best fits your schedule.

Please note that in order to volunteer at a Hands On Tokyo event, you must first register (at no cost) in their volunteer database. Doing so will give you the option of receiving notices of other HOT service opportunities and to sign up for them directly, without going through Harvard Club of Japan. While we at HCJ of course hope that you will volunteer at our club’s own service events, our larger goal and that of Harvard is that our alumni participate actively in and contribute to their local communities, so we hope that many of you will join not only in this Day of Service but also in other HOT events in the future. Registering as an HOT volunteer also gives you their volunteer insurance coverage at no charge.

Please note that Harvard Club of Japan is not directly running any of the events on October 5^th so please do not contact us with any questions because we will not be able to help you.
