HBS Alumni Speaker Series #5: Masako Egawa, first EVP of Univ. of Tokyo in its 140 year history & Kay Deguchi, formerly the first female president in orthopedic industry and now Sr. Exec VP at Bell Systems discuss women's leadership

Harvard Busines School Club of Japan invites all HCJ members to the following (JAPANESE LANGUAGE) event:

 

On 8/29 (Th) Masako Egawa and Kay Deguchi-- Two successful female HBS alums debate on “Can Women Lead"? (**JAPANESE LANGUAGE EVENT)) as HBS Alum Speaker Series V. 

Masako Egawa is a noted businesswoman and an academic, who has taken a turn from a successful career in the financial world to devotion to academics. Egawa currently serves on the managing board at the University of Tokyo as the first female Executive Vice President in its 140 year history. Kay Deguchi has held various positions at Fortune 500 companies, becoming the first female president in orthopedic industry at Stryker Japan. She currently is the Senior Exec VP at Bell Systems. Egawa/Deguchi will candidly talk about their challenges and tips on how “Women can Lead”. Session will be interactive and will be held in Japanese.
